Would like to hear from back players who use RT or retro valve w/LX. Going back to A retro valve mag and need to know what size tank to purchase. I shoot 7-9(980-1260 balls) pods per game and like to have a litte air left(just in case). I was thinking about a 90 ci, but would like to hear from ya. I already searched and couldn't find anything but 68ci info. Thanks!

Thx, B

I use a 1,1 litre (68ci) 4500 AA Armageddon on my xmag. I'm a backplayer myself and use 7-8 pods in a game. The 1,5 litre bottle is another option for you, a couple of my team-mates use them.

I'm thinking about buying a 45/45 Crossfire, but I'm not sure.

if you shoot that much i would get a 68/45 or 88/45, and adjustalbe output is a must for a retro valve

Why is an adjustabel a must with the Retro Valve? I have a fixed output and it seems fine.

you cant adjust the reactivity of the RT mag without an adjustable tank. an RT will be more reactive at 1200psi into the gun than 850psi into the gun

that doesnt mean its a must, its preferance.

i use a 68/45 and i get about 900-1000 off of a 4k fill.

I have a 88/3000 and can play 3+ games without a refill (depends on how much I shoot and if I am being a back player or more of a middle player)...Why are you shooting 7-9 pods a game?!?! Even if I give cover fire for teammates I wont blow more than 400-500 rounds. Most games I can go without blowing a full hopper even with suppressive fire.

I need to get a damn remote for my gun...it is a pain if you ever need to go prone with a 88 CI tank on a cradle under the gun. Also be warned of the added weight of a larger tank...it requires 2 hands to accurately shoot (unless you are pumped with adrenaline) and that makes it difficult to run and shoot to keep a person bunkered.

I play in tourney's and I can keep more players in, the more paint I shoot. My front men don't complain. Any way I'm going with a 850 preset screw in 90ci, thanks for all your posts about how many shot I should expect.

Thx, B

i use a 114 ci, 3k tank.. preset of 750 psi.. its perfect for the homeade field my friends and i play at.. because we use suba tanks to fill off of. but if i went to an actual field or tourny id want a 68/45 adjustable output so that i can get major reactivity against those electric users. speed helps alot.. rt valve thrives off of air. gota have a system to keep it up with it..
