I have a flatline tank that is only a 47 3k and I shoot a matrix, so putting two and two together I need a bigger tank.

you can get another bottle on that reg. however, it has to be a 3000psi bottle as the reg is only rated for 3000psi.

Is there only a certain tank type that will fit or are they universal?

I was thinkin the same thing

I have the older 3000psi 68ci flatline tank. the reg is great, but the 68ci is a bit small.

i was wondering if i could get a 88 stub, like crossfires w/o 4500psi rating?

thanks

ok guys, heres the deal on changing tanks:

you can put any size/capacity tank on a reg(the threads are standardized now)

the only thing is you have to use the lowest psi, so if you have a 3000psi reg you can only fill to 3000psi or if you have a 3000psi tank you can only fill to 3000 psi.

you have to have the regs/tanks switched by a qualified airsmith, becuase there are certain requirements that have to be met.

there are two different thread sizes on PB tank reg and bottle necks. 5/8" and 3/4" threads. I dont know which is ona Flatline, but call AGD and they should be able to tell you.

I would STRONGLY recmmend having a certified airsmith do the work on the tanks as an error can cost a life. I can and will instruct you on how to, but i REALLY recommend getting an airsmith to do it. I am so strongly recommending this, i offer to do it for free, you just pay shipping here for the bottel and the reg and ill even pay shipping back....no labor charges.
