IM wondering, if ao has influenced any of you in some of your purchasing choices? Like me. Well when i had my cocker, all i wanted to do was come back to the Mag family, so i bought an e-mag, then after that, i guess i wanted to be looked up at or something on these boards, so i went for the sfl. Are there any others out there like me?

Absolutely. If it weren't for AO, I probably would've become a Tippmann or cocker friend (depending on what friend(s) got to me first) I wouldn't have bought my first mag...

or my second mag, or my emag, or my iframe, or my warp...

*edit* - I was referring specifically to AGD products I've purchased on AO, I did not list (everything else, basically) what I found out about, or researched, and purchased.

If it weren't for AO and all you mag freeks, I owuldn't have decided to finally break down and try my hand at making a sexy RT Pro.

not really.

[edit insert - after thinking a bit, this should probably be yes, since I would otherwise not known about the roller trigger which i intend on buying when released again and I hav eboght several sluggo bodies]

But Manike (re)turned me into a maggot again, so I came back (really it was because of the Level10SuperBolt, I was re-converted). But I like what I like and though my xmag isn't really my main marker, it is still reallly fun to use!

Yes, I probably wouldn't have bought anythign else if it weren't for AO. I would most likely be playing with an old automag and vert bottle CO2. Now I still have a regular mag, but it's got an I-frame, Nitro, and Warp Feed. =P

Well.. I'm waiting for my first gun/marker, an RT Pro, to arrive. I was looking at mags vs cockers and the deciding factor for me was AO. You just can't beat the depth of info available here for a newbie:D

Definitely. I wouldn't have an e-mag if it weren't for AO. Can't think of one decision I've made that hasn't been influenced by it.

Same here :)

RobAGD told my dad to come here (after wanting to know a higher end gun)at the pro shop I was at, and at the time I thought "ewww automags... no". Of course I didn't know anything at the time and I thought my pro carbine was pretty spiffy. I came here and read some cocker vs mag and started my own thread that got 80 posts of pure info :) Now I have a minimag and im happy

thanks all

I didn't know about AO when I got my first mag , now because of it I'm buying an x-mag ($1500) . Best thing is when you mention x-mag to other mag owners and they ask "what's an x-mag?" . Then you direct them here , probaly the best Owner's group I've ever seen . I mean how many other companies get input from us ordinary people regarding a new grip frame?

I have a MicroMag...I seriously dislike the Pro-Team Direct's website and lack of info on a older gun / style. I wish I would of bought a Automag or similar that was made by AGD. This forum, customer service, and info is very nice and very helpful.

I think "influence" might be the wrong word, it's not like i was brainwashed into anything by this board. but it is nice to have a place where i can get loads of useful real info and reviews of products as well as be able to share ideas with the people that actually make the gun i use.

I once tried to trade my mag for a cocker. My mag ended up getting stolen and me out of a gun. I took some action and got my mag back. Hating my self for ever trying to get rid of it. Then I parted it out, bought an impy. I regreted that the most of any thing. Sold the impulse, and have been done with paintball.

Im definatley buying another mag at some time or another. Even if I have to wait till Im 18 to go buy one, I will have another one, I will play paintball again...

BTW, I bought one of the first intelliframes for 140 dollars. Then bought a warpfeed the next day. Id say AO influenced me a bit.
