im no expert, there are alot of guys here that would know better, but i dont think its possible. its just the design of the gun and how the valve works, it needs the higher pressure

Internally, it operates at 400psi, which is pretty low. 800psi is the input pressure the regulator likes to use for taking it down to about 400.

Besides... LP is a myth and doesn't functionally do anything for you.

ya, dont be fooled by the valve, it has the equivalent of an inline reg on a cocker or angel built right in it. Angels and Cockers dont mind that high of an input because the inline drops the pressure down. As Tom said, over 10 years and no one else could figure out how to put the reg in the valve, lol.

Along with what Miscue and Havoc said, LP does not make a gun fire any further or more efficient. Simply because it takes a certain amount of energy to get a ball moving to 280 fps. Ans if it is LP air, it requires more volume. If it is High pressure Air, It requires less volume. Basically creating equal amounts of air used for either operation.

Also, if you are thinking of the presure on the ball, the Automag is one of the lowest pressure guns out there. Lower pressure than an Impulse!!
