Welcome to AO AutomagBoy:)

Now that you are no longer "new", Tom is involved with an amateur astronomy group, that is building a spaced based telescope for almost anyone to observe with. This is not unlike the Hubble telescope, except that "we" get to use it, not just NASA.

The lens for the 'scope, has been happily sitting at AGD being ground and polished day after day.

Tom is into much more than just paintball; try astronomy, paleantology, astro-physics, beach volley-ball, and world speed record hot-dog eating.

...OK, I was just kidding about paintball...

What would that be 6 seconds? I surprised you didn't say long walks on the beach.

Well, that is actually a CAD drawing for a Dooms day device, coined Operation Fluffy Bunny. Its a Flux Capacitating Diode with a a gyro sprocket and a mass spectrometer core and a goldeneye series double laser astrometer and a neutronic tracking module. :-D

Hey, Senor Kaye, if you see this, When do you think you'll have this thing orbiting? I'd love to see some of what it sees.

i think it's going to be a telescope on the ground? that is why they said anyone can use it.

Nope, i think it's gonna relay what it sees back to the green planet for us to see online.

Actually its my own personal telescope to be used on the ground in AZ to discover planets around other stars. I am no longer involved with the telescope on the Space Station because its having political problems.

If you look closer, he says 'Where in AZ', not 'Where is AZ', so he was likely less being a smartass than being curious about local events.
