i took a total of 4 pics but 2 of them crapped out of me so you get to see the new front block and the clearnce issue i solved in the other one. ive spent 10 hours machine time carving down the rail and milling myself a new front and here they are.

the new front end of the beast

and it took me a while to get the tank to a point that i didnt have to cut the trigger guard and i got really lucky on my second try. yes tats less then 1/1000th of an inch

Nice bro. I still don't know why you'd go through all of the trouble for an unshoulder-able setup, but it looks good :)

Did you attach a seperate ASA to the "beast block" or did you mill that out and thread it yourself?

By the way, the amount of space between the tank and frame is no anything/1000"....its touching :)

BTAutoMag

its not touching. the space is so thin you have to get the camera dead balls even with it and thats the best i could do.

ill see about getting a full pic before the gold powdercoating goes on.

also i dont like shouldering but that is only one of the reasons. i strive to be different and i refuse to be part of the saying that all mags look alike

oh and thats an AGD asa i had to mill down to fit

well i could of, but the tank was so far over it wouldve been touching the dye stickies and i would have had no room for my fingers. theres another thread floating around explaining the reasoning behind my decision

Hey BT, first off, nice job! Second, and more of a question.. but can you even get you hand around the grip in between the tank and frame? It looks a little tight in the pics.

is it just me or does the hose setup on that look backwards... shouldint it go tank -to- exchamber -to- vert asa -to- valve? not tank -to- ex chamber -to- asa -to- valve? not like it really matters i guess... well i guess im just insane then, didnt we all truly know that already though? oh snap, that midget just ate my last danish. hes gonna die now.

I apologize for this pointless post and the views expressed here do not reflect the true thoughts of AdrenalineMag as he was probably not in a sane state of mind during the time of this post. Thank you, that is all.

Your arms and wrists must be really sore and tired after a long day of playing.
