ive noticed little difference in my rof since the change to retro, unless i put like 1kpsi into the gun..and i heard thats "damaging" to the internals. so, how do you guys do it?

on/off pin length or higher PSI... No other way really.

I run about 900-1000 PSI's and I can sweetspot the trigger to basically give me a 8 round burst. It doesnt damage the internals at all.

you can put 1100 psi into the valve without damageing it..
tho it becomes a rather shady version of legal..

Practice. That's all it took for me.

Haha . . . yea you do. Its probably just me but I really like my groove trigger and I think thats what give me a little bit higher ROF. I'm only running an 850 output pressure from my 68/3000 Crossfire tank so I dunno . . . what's so bad about your ROF?

At first I didn't notice any difference either. As you get used to the trigger, however, you can really rip on it. It actually is starting to piss me off because I play hopperball most of the time and I shoot through it way too fast without even realizing that I am doing it.:)

well you see, it's a science really. it's all a matter of presicely pulling and releasing the trigger at just the right pressures. you see, the whole trick is, to not pull, but squeeze the trigger, then when it fires, release some of the pressure, but not all due to the reactive trigger.

actually i'm just messin around, i don't know, it just takes a little getting used to the feel of the reactive trigger, you just have to relearn it, then you will be able to acheive higher ROF's w/ the same input presure

yeah i play hopper ball also but i just rip on the break and when some one is making a move for a flag or just running to another bunker but other than that i just post up but this is also just rec ball

www.airgun.com is where you can buy new on/off pins

talk to some AGD techs or tunaman and try to pick up some of the agd custom-milled on/off pins, i have my custom .736 and .745, and the .745 gives me a nice snappy trigger thats pretty easy to sweetspot when you need to int he heat of battle

i used the stock .750 pin for the first 2 weeks of play, and once you learn the trigger again, you can achieve around 12bps, and my shorter .745 pin is getting up around 16 now... oh yeah, when i stick my .736 pin in, it can go into full runaway whenever i pull the trigger... at freakin 22bps... the chrono counted the bps and i decided it was time for a longer pin cause my field doesnt alow f/a runaway

retro also gives you a bit shorter pull... just get used to it before you go bust $14 on each on/off pin, and don't bother with the emag or RTP pin... emag makes it go f/a all the time, and RTP is too much like a classic valve to me

ditto the ditto. You shoot a 'mag for a while, and it just comes. Messing with the input pressure is kinda "cheating" to me, since I want to be able to shoot fast, and be tournie legal too.

yea i have the e-mag pin and it pretty much sucks, the Runaway gets annoying...its neat at first. but then it gets annoyin. soo i ordered a stock RT pin,

ditto on the finger...PRACTICE i got a preset input on my stubby and its very verry nice, i learned the trigg very quickly and hit a 14.2 bps 2 weks ago over my fields chrono...thats very fast if u think bout it, deff for bein semi on a preset...:D

The highest I got on my rtpro when I had it was 12 bps running at about 950psi

Running away, i hit about 15bps. I can do about 13 with a nicely set up one. I like to use those grip strengthener things in doctors offices. Work great. Oh yea, on Monday, I shot my emag till my hand hurt. :)

make sure you also get the regular on/off o-rings to replace the emag's black quad-oring setup

With an emag pin the ball wont even make it into the chamber it cycles so fast! And with the lvl x it tops on every 3rd ball!

I use a .740 pin and that is very reactive for me and i get get over 16 bps with a reasonable input pressure, 875-950 psi.
