<center>How Fast Can You Shoot With Your ReTro Valve?

What Are The Specs Of Your ReTro Valve?
(on/off pin length, lvl 10, emag/rtp/retro/x valve)</center>

edit: please vote for your average BPS in normal gameplay, not runaway firing

was it really necessary to put 1bps -30bps? In fact, this poll is already pointless since it is obvious people have already not been truthful lol :D

26 :P?? In gameplay!! Read! Cheater!

.740, lvl 10 present(Shortest spring), Retro valve upgrade.

17 BPS here...

Another thing you forgot is the PSI you run the gun at... Might want to edit that in there.

Mine is around 875-1000. It ranges the BPS from 15-17. When i get my halo B I will push her to the limits.

come on, 15-17 on a manual trigger? Where did you measure this btw? Or is everyone just going to go off of percieved bps

i can truly do 17bps, the chrono counted it for me, and it sounded the exact same on the field for most of the games... but truthfully, my average speed is 14-15 when i'm not hyped up on sugar and caffine

butter... gameplay BPS... blah... i should delete this and start 2 threads: fastest retro & fastest retro in gameplay

you're a sneaky one butter... i can do that too (like on site w/ retro)... but lets keep our little secret quiet ;)

How do you measure your bps?

sneakyhacker420

shoot over 5bps on some of the chronographs, and it will start counting your BPS instead of FPS

people over estimate rate of fire... You guys dont realize how fast 10bps is. Honestly i think it is impossible to get anything dramatically over 10bps consistantly unless it is some type of aid such as bouncing the trigger. Very few can do 10bps consistantly anways. I'm talking about electronics BTW.

12bps (measured) but I can only maintain it for short strings, on longer ones more around 9bps methinks (that is a guess, but it is noticably less than what I've measured at top speed)

I put 0 since i dont have a retro.

12 bps, recorded sound clip.

Lvl 10 RT Pro, groove intelliframe + Warp (at the time)

I am estimating around 17... As for that, my gun can shoot faster but if I do that my egg 2 can't keep up with anything over 16. When I get my halo b I can fix it up for some higher rates of fire, but until then I'll take 15 and 16 BPS. I voted for 17 because thats how fast I can shoot it during a game but I keep it lower with the egg 2 mostly.

somewhere near 13 for short strings
Old retro, benchy with tyson blade, mmm sweet, dunno what length on/off, input at 850-925

I can hammer out around 10bps pretty consistently on the field. Its plenty fast enough to keep heads down on longer strings. When snap-shooting, i can pull maybe 2-3 more bps, but only for a second or so, and even then its pretty tricky.

my impulse is capped at somewhere around 14 bps and i consitantly get a beep noise that means your shooting faster than that so its definantly possible. my emag its capped at 16 so around the same as the impulse in normaly and 16 with hybrid easily

Justin,

Could you get me the make and model of the chrono you were using?

I'd like to check as I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that the crono is reporting your highest split time for a string - or doing some type of calculation based on the fastest split. I'd like to call the manufacturer to check.

Cledford,

My local field has one of these chrono's. I'm not exactly sure about the make/model, but its one of the red RADAR chrono's. The one with the round red button you have to press and hold to turn on. Lemme see if I can find a link for ya.

http://paintballsafety.com/chrono001.html It's the red one about halfway down.. and the review starts on the paragraph following the picture. The third one they tested was this radar chrono. It will rate up to 20bps.

But I hit 17bps with my retro over the chrono, I have also bumper the input pressure up from 900 to 1025 I have yet to re-clock the gun using sound recorder and then omporting it to Soundforge Xp to count the spikes (which represent shots) I do have a sound clip available at

http://bellsouthpwp.net/1/b/1badandy/pictures/sound/rt5.wav

it's not very long (I only had 1000 psi in my tank) and I will be posting another soon hopefully in excess of 10 seconds long.
