Hey people! I posted this earlier so why don't we get crackin on this? I'm not sure about those oregonians though... It may turn into an AO WA meet if there aren't going to be enough oregonians going.

Yeah, We definately need to get crackn' on this one. I'm thinking either the last weekend in March(30th/31st) at Paradise Paintball or the first weekend in April(5th or 6th) at Paradise. Here's a link to the other thread to refresh everyone's memories:http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=67547&highlight=NW+AO+Meet

Hmm... I just got a teleconverter for my 200mm lens... turns it into a 600mm :D I'll have to use like 3200 speed film, but I think I can get some sweet-*** speedball shots.

If I don't make it playing, I'll make it shooting photo's. Kinda strapped for $$ at the moment, but who knows, that might change. I have *just* enough for a ULE body when it's released... or at least I hope it'll be enough.

Anyway, if everything works out, I'm game.

and Paradise sounds great. If it turns into a WA-Only thing, maybe KC's would be easier for most of us.

As long as it's not on a NWTS date, you can count me in. I can probably get another budy or two to come along as well.

Well, what would be a good day for everyone then? I'm thinking either the last weekend in March or the first weekend in April? How does that sound. What days is the NWTS on Blaster?

I have a new camcorder and i'm going to get a new wide angle lense soon... it should be a nice ao day if we do this

If we do it in March/April then the only NWTS events are on March 15th, and April 19th. Although I'll be in Reno April 4th - 7th. What about March 29th or April 12th. Any firm ideas where?

Well, I'm gonna say that we do it the 29th of March then. Gives us a bit of time to prepair and seems to be a good day for everyone. I believe we were leaning towards Paradise Paintball.

Now that you mention it the 30th would prolly be best since we'll have the best chance of getting our own field not to mention I can use Saturday to sleep all day and get back all the lost sleep I'll lose on finals week. So who all wants to agree on the 30th? Anyone?

Alright guys. The time is getting closer and we need to make the date official so we can figure out who's all going as well as make sure that that date is going to work. I'd like to get this finalized by the end of this weekend so that I can get a hold of the guys at paradise paintball and see if we might be able to reserve an airball field if we can get enough people. Let me know.

is this still going for the 30th?

RetroEclipseMan

As far as I know it is. Joeyjoe can't make it and blazestorm doesn't know if he can get a ride but I will be down there 100% for sure along with a couple people. As for the private group thing I think we're just gonna scrap that idea since we can't seem to get enough people to go for sure but I figure since it's a sunday that we can just meet up down there and play pick up ball on the sup air fields.

PLanning on being there, What time, IE when should I jet out of seatown. Also, how's the rode to the field? deep ruts? large rocks? smooth as glass?

Blazestorm

its cement with speed bumps for the beginning, than like rocks and gravel and stuff :)

Well I normally like the get the field early and dink around for a bit and take my time getting ready before games start. Also since I haven't played there before I'd like to kinda walk the fields.I wanna be down ther around 9am so I figure I'll be leaving around 8 or so. Just look for a white vw gti and that'll be me.

banzaimf

I think we have decided to switch to KC Crusaders.

www.kccrusaders.net

simply because it is open 3 more hours than paradise, has a proshop, and is overall I think a better place to have a meet of ours. The sup air is not walk-on's so if we want to we can simply walk over there and start playing. We can get walk-on's to join us if they want but they usually play the woods field which is pretty sweet for what it is, its prolly 3 acres of open area with tons of bunkers, even a river that is IN play (during the summer people go swimming out there... seen newbies dive into the water for cover)
