Yep, the owner Fracois made a bunch of them, sold and made money quick. Took that money and ran in about '99. There are several mobs after him ad i'm not kidding. He has ALOT of debts to be paid off.

A few of us took a chance on them,
Knowing We would'nt get any factory support.
We learned what the "bug's" were, and
how to fix them.
At Paintball Sam's Wi. there are or were
about 6-7 of them, and after we debugged
them none of them has ever given any problem's.
This was a marker that you could buy inexpensively
at the time and if you knew what you were doing,
was very easily turned into a First Rate Tourney
level marker.
I still have no problem shooting My gun against
Angel's, Bushy's, Impy's, or any other marker
out there that is considered "Top of the Line"
These gun's were Vastly Overlooked by the people
who wanted the latest, greatest, fastest, sexiest thing around! I have absolutely no qualm's about using
this gun in a tournament situation too this day.
The gun is capable of a much higher rate of fire
than any man/woman I have ever known is capable of
doing.

Actually the boards are capped at 13bps and even then they may be off by a ball or even 2. Unless you have a Warlord or Fury chip you wont be getting higher then 13 bps. The new D-Eye-Y board was just released a few days ago, I belive 2. It is capable of 20 bps, has ACE, and ALOT of other goodies on it.

What are the quirks and problems of this gun? I almost bought one just because I have never owned a high end electro. Is it worth gettign and playnig around with, or shoudl I just go for the emag :)

Here she is. I just bought the new D-eye-Y Warlord. It should be in this week sometime. And matt, that's 24 bps, not 20, and unlimited in semi mode. :)

i shot a tribal once at a tourney and the thing had a shorter trigger pull than my angel lcd. i was very impressed and continue to this day looking for a tribal with the same kinda trigger setup so i can buy it.

Definatly. www.airsoldier.com is Have Blue's site. wwww.fearfactorypb.com is me262's site. Both post on Pbnation. I think Have Blue posts here sometimes aswell.

The company that use to make them was called Toxic Toys. They are no longer in business. The owner took the money and ran. Go to www.pbnation.com and go to the tribal section. We have our own classifieds in the tribal forum. There are always some for sale.

I was thinking about getting a cocker or a timmy but these Tribal's look pretty dope and from the sound of it have accuracy comprable to a cocker? What about distance?

They're CHEAP on ebay, like 350 for a Twister. What variants of the Tribal should I be looking for, what's best etc.

Distance...it will be the same as any other marker if they are the same speed.

Have any of you Tribal guys done the magnetic trigger mod that Have Blue suggested?

I did it and it is SWEET. The trigger feels great and the mod was pretty easy to do. My Tribal's trigger is now a little lighter than my E-Mag's trigger with one magnet with one o-ring spacer.:eek:
