Valve loosening?

I have noticed lately that afeter I gas up my gun and fire a few shots, where the valve halves line up to spell Automag, they loosen about 1/16". Is this going to affect performance, and if it will, can i put some grease on those threads to keep them lined up?

it doesn't affect performance; the valve will work fine;

yea it will work fine, and actually the the letters wont line up perfectly, when the valve is in the gun, b/c of the z-groove or whatever its called
