If you had to choose, which would you prefer?

Eclipse.

Can you say better internals? The Orracle uses stock cocker internals while the Eclipse uses Belsales.

But what you really want is the King of Cockers. The Evolution. With an Eblade. Same components as a Eclipse, far superior looks, tuned by the gods of cockerdom, Belsales.

One of the guys from Full Blast Extreme (11th/Rookie at Skyball, w00t!) had one. It's sickeningly fast and absolutely gorgeous.

Badlands Paintball can hook you up. Brad (One of the owners) shoots a Eblade Evo as his personal gun.

Well as per the pictures the Orracle is not even tournament legal, ie lack of beavertail even though it comes with a beavertail I generally don't like WGP tails.

Depends wholly on the cosmetic look, they both will perform very similiar. The Eclipse as more of a block look, more futuristic and why that picture as such a horrible looking barrel I do not know but I like the Eclipse look better than the Orracles Organic look.

The evos are very nice even if I dislike some of their color schemes. And if you do happen to buy a cocker come on over to www.air-powered.com, say hi and show us your new toy ;).

Az, Mod over at air.

I have never seen either one so I can't say which one is better, but to give you another choice, PnP makes Freeflow E-Blades. Before anyone makes the bold and erronious statement that PnP only uses Racegun, I have one, and it is very, very fast.

Hmmm... freeflow is better than the evolution?
I tried to find their website but I cant find it on google

btw the barrel on the eclipse is a Dye xcel, piece of crap for such an expensive gun (I have one... pretty ok for my 98 but it isnt great) and the caner on the orracle blows it away

Go to http://www.4freeflow.com/ for the PnP Freeflow site.

Weather Freeflow is better than Evo? I have no idea. I am sure both will have their supporters. I am just going by what I know, because I own it and use it. Honestly though, I think that when you reach the ratified heights of markers like the FF, Evo, SFL, Chipleys, Ultalite, E-Orr, E-Blade, etc., (and those are just some of the high end 'Cockers out there) the difference are not about performance. All are made with the best mechanical parts. All are made to strict tolerances. They are all excellant markers. The difference are ones personal choice of look, feel and weight.

Cool, thanks for the info. I wish I could feel these cockers, but my local pevs hardly carries these (never actually saw the eclipse there ever) and ive never seen any at the field :) just videos of them shooting and my friends cockers. I dont know whether I want to go expensive cocker or nice emag/xmag.

The eblade sold me on the idea of CONSIDERING getting a cocker :) and now im trying to get into the cocker scene by learning more about them. How reliable are cockers of this level?

The only reason that I got the FF/E-Blade was that I was tired of waiting for my turn on the X-Mag que. I am still on the list for the X-Mag, and I may still get it. If you have the patience, I say wait for the X-Mag.

As for reliability when it comes to high end 'Cockers, it's like anything else. If you take care of it, it will take care of you. I have yet to have a problem with mine, but 'Cockers are some of the most finicky beasts out there. That is their rep and it is well worth it. However, you will be hard pressed to find an airsmith who does not know 'Cockers in and out, considering how long they have been around, so there is good along with the bad.

well one thing about the E-Blade, there is no 3 way to time and once you set the lug you can forget it. It wont get screwed up. the E-Blade is fast, and so is the Xmag. I shot both the Xmag and the E-Blade at Skyball, and the Xmag is my 2nd in line. Once i get an E-Blade i will save for the Xmag and by then it will be readily available. :)

However i have been lucky enough to play with a team mates Raced Evo and boy does that thing rip gives you the feelin your firing even faster due to the cocking bolt. I managed to do 13- 15 bps consistently and enjoyed every moment. Only problem was i got a bit trigger happy and ended up runnin out of paint lol :( O well these things happen. Im really entrigued to try an eblade however due to many teams purchasing them over here in sunny england and leaving behind their impulses and angels among other things. I would imagine they are fairly similar to the race and am drooling at the possibility of layin my hands on one :D

And Eblades tend to be faster than Raceguns (The frames are comparable in capability, but the EBlade's trigger is superior)
