Hey all, i am very intreged by this idea, and i will start a prototype, only thing first is i would require extra shells for my warp and revvy or even old VL200 shells, then i will get started right away, if it does work, i WILL put it into production, and the people that donated OLD shells will get a discount. If your thinking that i just want shells for my own warp or revvy or even old VL200 shells, its wrong, i dont need anything new, it can be slightly cracked or what ever, what ever you have will work fine.

(here is a prototype pic of the whopper((not designed by me)) ...) http://www.automags.org/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=411364
(credit goes to "Patron God of Pirates" for the design, if i get these working, you will get one at half price, maybe free if i sell enough)

looks like a cool idea. get a prototype working and tested and I might interested.

i would get a prototype working on if i had any shells

revy shells? they are $12 for both sides. just buyem. you cant expect to make a prototype and not spend ANY money.

but then you got warp shells that run for around 50...

cant make an omlette without breaking some eggs. if this product really works, you will make money when you sell them.

I spent about $100 and 6 weeks of devlopment on a spyder ACE system. turns out nobody wanted them, but I had one working prototype for about a year. :D

hhmmm ill think about it future, but i really would rather 200 ball shells

That looks like a really good idea. Will the happer have any sort of paddles/force feed?

Not sure yet, most likely, i will have to test it with out one first, it depends how i have the hopper set on the warp...it most likely wont need one though

Theres a HUGGGEE problem with that design, and I'll tell you what it is..

There are more leftys out there than you think.

Good call! however, I am a lefty and can use the warp on that side, and I always did because it was perfectly comfy...and also whos to say we cant make one for obth sides?

Lefty whoppers would be a possibility....but it would cost a little bit more

I've got a couple of Revy shells that have had a hole cut through them (Warp feed tube) in the front. You can have those if you can use them. Even with the hole they might be useful when you need something to cut up to see how things fit.

quick question, how are you going to line up the balls so that the warp disks can grab them? if you have some sort of secret design that you don't want out just say so. but if you plan on simply having the warp disks pic up the balls from a big pool of paint, forget it, it just will not work. the warp still needs something to sort out the balls into a linear fashion(a loader, rev, halo, rico, etc). that is why the warp will alway be faster than any loader, cause you can simply increse the voltage and you have higher speed.

But like I said, if you have some secret design then I wish you the best of luck in production and success, make a lefty version and i'll get one or two.

Ideas are cheap...it's the plastic injection molds that cost $100,000 or so, EACH

There are a couple of design flaws I do think.

If you look where the ball enters the warp isn't at an angel so there is no gravity to force the ball into the warp mechanism. Also there is a lfat part in the rev that seems to not allow about 20 balls into the hopper without tilting it.

I have a pair of 12v smoke revvy shells that I'd donate, but there's a hole burnt in the right side for the warp, and it's a pretty bad job.... the left side has a crack near the lid, too. If you're interested I'd send em for free, but you'd have to pay for shipping.

On another note, that's a pretty good design, but couldn't AGD and possibly BE sue you since you are basing this off the designs for their own shells? You might want to look into that.

Thats another issue I Was wondering about...sure, if it was just for you it would be ok, or mabe even if you called it an "upgrade" and they sent it to you to be modified, but I dont know about mass producing them.

thats why he says, if yu send me your shells i will upgrade them!!!!
