Hey,
I put on my 68/3K flatline this weekend *thanks to the nice drop by DataPimp69* and it worked AMAZING!

I just have one question....

How do you degas the valve/line once you turn off the flatline so you can take it apart? My Flatline/valve keep about 400psi inside once I turn it off and fire a few shots and since the valve wont fire at 400psi it just sits in the valve/lines.

How do I get rid of that?

Sincerely,
Dave K

Get a slide check to bleed off the excess psi in the line.

quick disconnect works, even though it makes a loud pop :D

I hope you LIKE your FREE flatline tank... you owe me :p

If you use your QD to bleed the line, you will probably blow the o-ring out. I've managed to move the o out of position, as well as launch it across the room. If you *must* bleed the line via QD, do so slowly... after you've done so, check the position of the o. Odds are, it has been pushed up the QD a bit.. just push it back in.

What I'm going to do (still waiting for parts) is install a branch tee on my tank. One side will have a slide check, the other will have my SS line which runs to my QD, then valve. This allows me to bleed the line without worry.

kinda like this? just remember, you also have to plug the end of the slide check.
