Hey guys..

Just looking at some options here, and I came across the BKO. I have heard alot of bad things in the first stages of this marker, but now after some research, have heard nothing but good.

I'm looking for a lighter trigger pull and something that is overall quiter, less kick and more efficient / consistant.

Do you guys think this would be a nice way for me to go? I currently own a mag, equation barrel set, i-frame, flatline 68ci 3000psi.

I know must of you guys and gals know your stuff because you have a mag in the first place. Just wondering what you think of the BKO.

Thanks
Dan

Killer marker for the Cash.

It's a Bushy but cheaper due to a much simpler to mill body. You give up any LPR mods though.

Vapor's FMD LPR mod works on BKOs

and http://www.vaporworks.net/services.html
Look under BKO Services it's in Package #2. I'm assuming they wouldn't sell it if it didn't work on the gun.

We've sold a few at the shop here and I'm impressed with them. For the price, you get alot of performance. I like them.

As for the Rock mod, you might be able to put one vertically upside down in the stock location or put one in the front with some work. Just an idea.

thanks

The BKO is cool for what you pay.

Every marker has particular things to watch for:
I have a couple bushmasters and have tracked the development of the BKO, many times I may say bushmaster, but that is the cousin marker made for it.

1. Be careful with the WIRES! Don't take it apart unless you absolutely have to. They use a very thin gauge wire and as such many bushmasters have needed the wires all resoldered to the connections.

2. Feed system: You can out shoot a revvy in a heartbeat. Invest in a good feeder. The Evolution2 or the Halo are great choices.

3. Air system: I don't know what they changed in the reg design but turn your input down to 600 or less when you use that flatline tank on your BKO. Historically ICD regs have not been able to handle high pressure input very well.

All that said, I love these bushmasters I own. They are light, fast, and efficient. I have about 35 cases of paint through one since I rebuilt it. I used it over 2 years before I changed it from stock.

I have another one I just picked up and rebuilt.

If you get a newer aftermarket valve (one of 3: Sonic from macdev.net, Vapor from vaporworks.net, or Tornado from AKAlmp.com)
your efficiency (shots per tank) will go up. I get about 1200 shots from a 68/3000 tank on a good 3000 psi fill.

They have very little recoil, but since the marker is sooo light, the recoil affects it more. You will adapt to this quickly, just take your time and get used to it.

They are very accurate given a good barrel and good paint. The airsystem makes a world of difference also.

The BKO's take the bushmaster grip frames, feed necks, barrels, and any aftermarket REGS! They threaded the ASA to a std asa thread! The bushies didnt have that for years.

Hope some of this helps

yeah for the price the BKO's are a pretty good deal.
The one improvement i like that ICD did was improve their HPR.
I would like an adjustable tank but the new regulator ICD came out with on newer generations of Bushies can take a preset tank. Not sure if the BKO has the same regulator or not. Pbnation actually has a good Indian Creek Design thread that covers a ton of BKO questions.

Ive already talked to you but ill had to the tread. I love the way mine shoots. Ive played better with this gun then i ever did with my mag. They have fixed the problems with the reg but still the stock reg sucks. I would recommend a Mac-dev gladiator. Only small regs fit it because of the LPR.

Also my stock barrel has a nick in it so it cuts paint.
