yes.....and yes

if you are using a normal hopper (not force fed) I wouldn't recommend it. and of course it will void the warrenty. you cant jsut start hacking on things and then expect a company to warent it anyway.....they will likely still fix the AIR valve under warenty/stars but the body will shot.

i have see one standard feed mag cut without a forcefed hopper but haven't used it much (not mine). i couldn't really tell u how well it worked, just make sure if u do cut it its in increments of 3/4 of and inch roughly the size of a pball so u don't mess up ur ball stack. i have done it to a couple powerfeed mags and they work fine.

I cut mine down so it can still hold a total of 3 ball in the stack. Haven't had any feed problems yet, using an old 9v VL2000.

I used a good stainless steel pipe cutter to chop of my 4 feed necks. Measure the depth of your hopper elbow and use that as a base lenght.

yea always cut a little long. just incase
b/c if it is too short there is no going back
i cut mine too long and the warp would put the balls past the breech gettin the lodged, soo i took a file and filed it down until it was perfect

Thanks, I tried with a reciprocating saw but it kept slipping so I gave up. I will give the pipe cutter a try

i used (well my friend) a dremel tool with a cut off wheel. worked out good, i fine tuned it with the file

I started out cutting mine with a pipe cutter, but the feed tube kind of destroyed the cheap blade on my cuttter. So i finished the job off with a hacksaw and a file.

Go easy if u use a pipe cutter. Small cranks and a lot of them work best.
