REVISED VERSION

I was thinking and I was wondering what type of music is most popular with paintball players/enthusiasts. If you read this, please vote.

If you want to add a catergory please post it. "Any Mods Please add it"

Also I know people listen to more than one style, what is your favorite.

If you vote for option 14 specify your music, sorry it was left out.

YES I KNOW I SAID CLASSICAL ROCK INSTEAD OF CLASSIC:) Im a tard, sorry.

Personally for me my regiment is Rap , Rock , metal , Punk...

Just this sunday crusing to my field ( 20 miles from home ) I cranked out... DMX , Dragpipe , down the sun , Penny wise and even some old school early 60's Pinkfloyd , and for laughs when pulling up.... its all Ride of the valkaries followed closely by the theme from the sopranos..

For thoughs that get to ever meet me a trade show do ask to see the CD book you will think Im insane ;)

I voted rock/alternative. I pretty much listen to Marilyn Mason, Kittie, Jack off Jill, anything rock.

I gotta go with the Punk.

It's all about learning by doing. Start with the Ramones and you get a huge slew of great groups that owe them a huge debt. What could be better than busting down the field with "Danger Zone" blaring over the speakers? I dunno I'm old.

I agree with Mr Pink. It mostly depends on what kind of mood i'm in. If I need to relax a little bit, i'll throw in some sublime or collective soul even. But if I need to get pumped for something i'll go with Atmosphere, capdown, or CKY.

I like all types of music, but when I'm going to play paintball I'm focused more on metal, rap, or a combination of both. It's great...I play front, I'm fast and like to get hyped up so that music's great for that.

I'm more of an easy going guy... Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews, Guster even... Typical college kid stuff... With the occasional punk bands like Bad Religion, or The Clash.

I was into the rap metal, and alot of rap just 6 months ago, but for some reason I haven't picked up a CD like that for a while, and I don't think I'll go back anytime soon.

Kind of a mix for me: punk, ska, some hard rock, and regular rock. "Chill" music is good too. I really don't have any specific music that I listen to before/after games, I just listen to music when I feel like it...

I just got into Bond and they are really fantastic. Nice well known pieces of classical music with really cool rock edge. They even cover some of Robert Plant's work.

dude, you still didnt make it a multi poll! i need one! i like punk techno, RATM, SOAD; incubus, WEEZER etc way too much to narrow it down to one type of music

E==Mag MAN
03-14-2003, 07:29 PM
I didn't want to make it a multie poll. I wanted everyone to have one vote. Dont blah blah blah me about liking different types of music because my listening spectrum is a wide one too. I chose my favorite style, my favorite cd isnt even metal/hardrock but thats what I voted. I think you can do it Magman:)

If you are going to combine categories, you should combine Electronica w/ Techno.

Yes, I know electronica includes bands like Portishead, which don't necessarily fit into Techno... but if only for the reason that I missed Techno while I was voting in the poll, so I picked electronica.

I would prefer to listen to christian music while playing paintball, but it is hard to convince a field to play it, unless we make special arrangments for it.

HARDCORE HARDCORE HARDCORE

No, I'm not talking any mainstream stuff...I'm talking about the underground stuff you never hear on the radio cause it would never be accepted...people just can't take it:)

Figure Four, Point of Recognition, No Innocent Victim, xDisciplex AD, Seventh Star, Shockwave.

Hardest stuff I've ever heard in my life...and it really gets me going for paintball or anything else.
