ok.. i guess its not really a theory.. and you guys will probably prove it to be wrong (like always :rolleyes: )but here it is..


Anyone who likes tagalong (peanut butter) and thin mints (self explanitory) does not like samoa girl scout cookies (coconut, caramel, chocolate and cookie). people who like samoa cookies usually only like samoas, and thin mints.

so am i right? i asked 5 random people in school... i was right.. and i got some odd looks.

also.. is aim not working for anyone right now?

and anything with coconut needs to find its way far far away from me, as its a tool fo the devil :P


Girl scout cookies are so good cause they are made from genuine free range girl scouts

I have a box of thin mints and a box of samoas sittin here in my desk at work that I can't eat because of my diet. Bah!

But I like the Tagalongs too. Just not as much as the other two, but I do still like them.

yep sorry man your wrong. I love the caremel ones, thin mints, and the penut butter ones! the chocolate ones are great as well! there fun to drop them all in a big glass of milk, let em get soggy, then guess what one you will get next with your spoon!

bah i hate thin mints!!! too minty for me... i will stick wiht my oreo's and milk. hmmmm oreos and milk... i that reminds me that i have to go to the store later

You know, I've been having some problems too....;)



We don't get "tagalongs" in our area, but I've heard of them before (on AO). We do get peanut butter patties, if those are the same things. I like them all except shortbread and caramel delights.

Sorry EsPo. Your theory doesn't hold true for me. I like Thin Mints, Tagalongs, and Samoas. In fact, I can't think of Girl Scout Cookie that I wouldn't eat.

My theory is that they put Nicotine in them. That would explain my addiction...:D

I like all Girl Scout Cookies.
They are delicious,especially to a junk food junkie like myself.
I can't get enough.
As a matter of fact I wish a Girl Scout would knock on my door right now.
I'd buy everything she had to offer.
My AIM works fine by the way.;)

i like the carmel ones, the peanut butter, and the thin mints... nothing else, the others are icky, only like thoes 3 :p


btw, i ate a whole box of the PB ones for breakfast today... and then half a box at school for lunch... not very healthy, but damn tasty! :eek:

i question why they only sell them once a year... they need to distribute then to grocery stores country-wide... then the scouts can be some rich little biznatches ;)

Because they aren't made by the girl scouts. Keebler makes about 80% of the cookies that they sell. I'm pretty sure thin mints are Keeblers' Grasshoppers, a chocolate wafer w/ mint flavoring, enrobed in fudge. I'm not sure about the others, I haven't seen girl scout cookies in years since I get more than enough free cookies from work:p

I do not believe that Keebler makes the Girl Scout cookies anymore. They were getting too expensive. I also believe that the girl scouts own the recipes. That allowed them to find someone else to make then and should keep Keebler from using the recipes.

Wouldn't that be what a contract is for? That and the fact that Keebler has much better things to do than hack recipes from other companies.;)

I'm a Territory Manager for Keebler. Basically a Sales Rep. but they changed the title when they changed the way we get paid!

Shame on me, forget those girl scouts, I work on Commission! The more cookies I sell the more money I get, hince more paintball money. Last I heard we made most of them, and if we don't we do indirectly. Keebler owns Sunshine, Presidents Baking, and several private bakeries. Kellogg's bought Keebler almost two years ago so I'm not sure how many other holdings Kellogg's had.
