I've been seeing autococker grip frames on regular automags. can you do that or do u have to customly drill some holes in your body rail?

i've seen it before on the internet, and i just saw some on these forum with hinge trigger frames. i was trying to find the thread again so i could link it to here but i can't find it. they had an autococker front block kit too.

You're probably thinking of the picture of one of Punisher's Mag-Cocker hybrids (the original with a single trigger cocker frame is about half way down the page on Punisher's site).

lo' many moons ago Budd Orr and Tom Kaye got their heads together and did their grip frames at the same time to save money.

So yes the frames will fit. I don't know that your sear will fit in all cocker frames.

So the hole spacing is exactly the same!

Yep! back in "the day" they shared most of the same things to a point.

Ask Punisher or Doc. They do that kinda stuff.

Punisher did that peticualar model. Its going to cost you alot of money, and in my book, its pointless.. but it looks cool.. and will defentally draw attention.

Well... not quite. Sheriden came first. Bud used sheriden frames origianlly, then went into production for himself. Using the same sear, trigger, and hole spacing. later came the autococker and re-engineering the guts of the frame to work with a sliding trigger. There was no coming togother of minds on those frames. It was just convienant for TK to buy frames from worr ;-)

This even goes to the point of when AGD started their carbon frames, there were hopes that AGD might become the OEM for WORR..... it didn't quite work out that way.

As for the mag sear fitting a cocker frame.. well no. it won't work. The mag sear is mounted in the rail. Now.. you might be able to get a sniper trigger frame to function on a mag.. or even a slider frame to function on a mag with some "slight" modifications.

Wow...just stumbled onto this one....

A cocker slide frame can be run on a Mag, using the Mag sear (still located in teh rail) for a slide trigger mag. Easy actually.

As for my conversion pictured above:
The trigger only manipulates the 4-way. There's a ram internally that cycles the sear itself. When running a 4-way like the shocktech bomb or PPS quick switch you end up with a trigger that's electro short....but no batteries.

So...it does have a purpose. While it may not be for everyone, it's certainly fast and fun.

Hmm.. what a thought. Maybe that would make my micromags trigger bearable ;-)

Absolutely will!

Nero got it right. We used to buy frames from Budd and then we made our own carbon fiber so Budd could use it too but he never did.

The cocker slider frames are compatible with the mag rail? That's pretty cool. I knew they looked similar, but I never knew they were THAT similar.

now you guys may laugh, but thats the same idea behind my current gathering dust project. i have this rainmaker laying around that needs some fun kicked into it, so voila, a cocker frame that only actuates a three way, ther rest is done by a ram, and either way it would be an improvement on a trigger that was responcible for about 1/3 of a never baught gun. (the others were brass eagels now spotty name since they were aquired by daisy, and a lack of upgrades to their regulators, which were not as consistant as the paintball community demands.)

ok, so an autococker slide frame will fit on a mag, but do u have to do any modifications to get the sear in, or does it just pop right in and your ready to go?
