Hi. I'm doing a research paper that is focusing on the evolution of paintball equipment for school. I need to know when AGD introduced the use of nitorgen/HPA into the sport as a solution to the mags on co2 problem(or so I was told was the reason). If anyone knows at least the year, or within a few years, that would be great. Thanks.

I have a 1993 68/3k tank on a raptor. this tank is one of the first 300 raptors produced.

ive always heard '91 was the year HPA was introduced by AGD...think if they had patented that idea then...man...that and the powerfeed

I watched the tech tape last night. Almost positive HPA was available in '92. But it was late and I was http://spamhate.com/Drunk.sml.gif

We introed it in 1991 to a bunch of negative publicity saying it will kill people and has no place in this sport.

How do you patent compressed air? AGD didn't exactly make anything new, just applied what already existed in a new way. Pressure regulators weren't first used in paintball, and neither were fiber wrapped tanks, quick disconnects, braided steel line, etc.

There isn't a pattent on it.
