I did a search on this, but didn't find much. I have a PMI Pure Energy 68/3000 steet tank that is a 5 yr, but I'm going to be purchasing another tank in the $100-200 range and wanted something a little lighter, still 68/3000 or 4500, but still with a 5 year hydro...anyone know of any tanks which meet all these specifications? Thanks a lot guys:)

if I'm not mistaken the nitroduck tuff skin tanks are 5 year hydro. I could be wrong cause I haven't seen too many of those arround.

Nitro Duck Carbon Fiber Series are. Carleton Carbon Fiber wrapped are 5 year too. Most Carbon Fiber wrapped tanks have a 5 year hydro. Check with the manufacturer though.

Any Nitro Duck Tank with a D.O.T.E10915 Code,
Not just the Tuff Skin.
However if they were Dated prior too a certain month
in "01" they must be tested at 3 yr's before becoming
a 5 yr tank. I'm not sure what month it's either March
or July.

Not ALL luxfors have a 5 year rating!

Here is thier page where you can line up model numbers and learn which ones do and dont have the 5 yr rating. Check your tank against what the company says - not word of mouth.
