hi,

question: is there is difference when buying a x-mag directly from AGD, than from a local authorized dealer? or vice versa?

If you could find a Dealer that already has a preorder that is not commited to someone or even one that a buyer backed out on you might could get one sooner. If you call AGD directly you will just be at the back of the line. Whereas a Dealer's order may already be up in the front of the line. Thats about all that might be an advantage.

Even they do not realy know where they are in line! All they know is when they ordered and so they know they are ahead of you if your ordering today. But they can guess... and you could ask em...

I know that Cynthia of Adventure Games has at least one unspoken for - I was in there buying t-shirts for spring and the guy watching the shop was trying to get me to buy it. Gloss black cnc. It was mighty fine, but I didn't feel like putting $1450 on my credit card right then. Their website is www.agpaintball.com.

$1450?? Is that how much they are? Is that the same price from AGD now too?

Yes that is about going rate. Notice I never said there was any price advantage to using a dealer. Not with these babies! They just too rare and new.

I thought they were gonna be in the 12-13 range... or is that later when they are more readily available.... like in a few years?;)

The standard ones are but there have not been any of them. But with C&C's you got people getting $1500 for used ones. :(

Buying from a local store will also add sales tax. Getting a C&C xmag will add $115+ to the price. I just emailed AGD and had myself added to the list. For the lucky people who got theirs, already how much did you pay for shipping?

Add: This is what I was quoted when I asked about the prices. That was back in November. Not sure if the prices changed.

Our retail pricing is expected to range from $1,050 at the low end (standard mainbody, black) to $1,350 for cut and carved in color and $1,560 at the high end (cut and carved, fade). Available colors are expected to be red, gold, purple, green, black and pewter. Blue will be available only in fades.

Why would blue only be available in fades? THe whole marker in blue looks so nice.

Annodizing blue is the hardest to get the shading equal in all parts. I think Tom said that if the parts aren't done at the same time, the shading will be different. I've seen an all blue cocker with a blue swing trigger and you can really see the diffence between the parts, even from 10-15 feet away.

As for now, any combination of you want up to 2 colors and no solid blue. As for the solid blue in the "Shinney" thread, I really don't know how the person got that color. Maybe it's Tom's. Anyone know's?
