You could, but it wouldnt stay long..unless you sealed it, but it would look like crap and not stay long...so its not a good idea, get a pro to anno/dust/paint it

i've airbrushed a couple mag bodies. the main problem is that with the rough play on gun a clear coat will evently chip.

If you tape it up properly I've seen lots of people taking them to body shops and getting them sprayed.Its very cheap and alot better looking than spraypaint.(trust me)Also in the dealers forum you can get it annodized for about $30-$40 bucks.This is the way I'm leaning.

Nope...cant annodize stainless steel...;)

powder coating is an option and you could do it at home

Sorry to bump in on your thread,but how do you paowdercoat at home?I would love to give that a try.I didn't know you could do it at home.
