Can you use white lithium grease in regs?

Can you use white lithium grease in regulators (like on spring packs) and other places where grease is required? It seems like I remember reading that you could use it but I'm not sure. If anyone knows please say so. Thanks.

On spring packs you can use basically any grease you want because the grease is just there to prevent rust. For o-rings and moving parts inside the valve, use DOW 33 grease.

Wouldn't Dow 55 be a better choice because it actually is classified as an o-ring lubricant with a greater operating temperature range?

Sorry, wasn't sure what forum this should be in.

Will it be ok to use it in the L7 mag AIR valve, on the reg adj. nut and blow off disc? And will it damage orings?

should be fine, but dont use it with co2. lithium grease and co2 turn to something like gum.

I'm guessing it's the liquid Co2 that does that to the WL..but I could be wrong..

I have used white lithium on my valves springpack and adjusting knob for 10years, as to date havent seen iny rust or had in problems and 9 of the years the valve only got Co2.

Ok, thanks for letting me know. On Angel-owners.com they also say to use it in the 14 way, and I figure if it's safe for an Angel 14 way then a mag should be able to handle it ;). Also, the gears inside my 12 v. rev motor have it on them from the factory. It's nice to find a lubricant this cheap (7 bucks for a really big tube at Auto Zone) that doesn't have to be removed and reapplied (like the Dow 33) every month.

most mechanical stuff like paintball gear isnt too picky about grease. just about anything will work. Its when you get into extreme temperatures and caustic/explosive/reactive chemicals and such where it matters. I used insutrial food-grade anti seize in my max-flow when i had it. 5 bucks for a pound.
