Here is what i have, what do you guys think i could get for it now, i got all the stuff about a month ago, its all in perfect working condition. ill show what i paid for each thing

98 custom 130
dop Bullet style drop forward 40
Toxic performance double trigger 25
x-core 8 stage expansion chamber 25
vertical adapter 20
smart parts teardrop 14 inch 45
rocket cock 20
16 and 9 oz tanks 40
scott "hotshot" mask 20


i paid about 350+ dollars, and i would really rather have a busmaster bko=)

how much do you think i could get for that set up, now that its used(barely lol) and would anyone in the "classified" forums wanna take it as a trade for any value?

optimistically, maybe 180. i wouldn't expect more than 150-60 though....98's have almost no resale value...

i sold my stock 98 w/tank and hard plastic case for i think it was $75, then sold my j&j ceremic for about $20.

its tough getting a decent resale price on those types of markers...thats why i didn't spend much money into it before i got a nicer one :)

a suggestion would be you may get a little more $ if you sold it locally instead of over the net. Maybe see if you can post it up at a local field or shop. Or sell it to a friend.

I agree with Skoad, you'll have a much better chance selling it locally. What you should do is go down to your local field and look for someone just starting out (Still renting, but mommy drops him off with a fist full of cash and takes off in her Mercedes-Benz is preferable ;) ). Let him try out your M98, and if he likes it all you need to do is say: "You know, I'm trying to sell it..".

(I'm not saying that you should rip people off, but that a newer player still renting is more likely to buy your marker, and a person holding it is more likely to pay :) )

btw anyone want a very reliable back-up marker, thats noob friendly. i bet this marker could get some of you friends who need a good 1st marker into paintball to stay.=)
