OK before you go off on the valve, lets nail down the problem. I don't know if this is your first run in with LX but I'm assuming it is. You did refer to the carrier as powertube spacer. The LX will have to be tweaked when you get a valve. The guys at Airgun can't set up LX for everyone's valve, they don't have time.

There are a million and a half threads on setting LX up. Make sure your is set up correctly. It may be something simple. Did you try turning up your velocity until the gun fires?

oil it up! Make sure you lube all the o-rings real good. Every new retro valve or x-valve I've seen was in serious need of love juice.

did you got to the small spring and turn the velocity all the way up and put some oil in the asa and shoot a tank or two threw it to break it in.

you on/off pin might not be a right tolerancy, but try putting in the small LX spring, also do you have a tank with a high enough output? or is it low pressure?

it's an easy fix if you haven't already fixed it, it's a lvl 10 problem, i had the same problem with mine, all you have to do it turn up the velocity (turn the reg nut in) i had to turn mine in a good 2 full turns to get it to work

well people dont get it through there head!!!! i have said it 50 times in this thread it wont shoot even the title. THE SEAR DOESNT POP FORWARD WHEN YOU PUT THE AIR ON AND IT WONT SLIDE FORWARD EVEN IF THE X VALVE IS ON!!!!!!! SO THERE FOR IT WONT SHOOT!!!!!

haha, you sound like a smart enough guy(obivously smart enough to pull a valve out of a gassed up marker) help yourself.

it wasnt gased up. the air tank was off of it. read the posts.

Well, you also would have read the Level 10 documentation that CLEARLY states that the LX kit holds pressure inside the valve unless a degassing measure is taken (proconnect, QD, slide check).

Also, when Havoc decides to help, you have one of the best techs around. DON'T get all nasty with people that are taking time out to help YOU. Just remember. All our guns are working.

You'll find that people are more helpful when you're civil, and less helpful when you are not. We know it's frustrating when stuff doesn't work. Be patient and eventually you'll get it working.

Um, why not take one from another carrier?

I've just had the exact same problem with my X-Valve. Installed it into my classic mag, gassed up and nothing - sear pin didn't pop forward to rest behind the trigger.

I degassed, removed the valve, liberally oiled the on/off o rings, re-installed it and this time the sear did move. Then I just kept cranking the velocity adjuster nut up until the gun started firing.

Just need to wear it in and fine tune it now.

(Btw - this was with the 2 line carrier and 2 shims as per the instructions).

What's your output pressure from your tank? If it's preset at 450 it's not going to work. You need at least 650 psi into the valve for it to work well, higher is better.

Have you tried using a different tank?
