2001 impulses

was there any major improvements made after the 2001 model year? i can get a great deal on an new 2001 or should i wait till i can afford a newer one? any info would be great. thanx!

My recomendation:

If it says impulse real huge on the side, keep away. If it has a small jewel on the back of it, go for it :D
