You realize timmies are cheater guns? If you pull only 1bps, it will remain at 300fps, but when you pull fast strings(like 6bps plus), the velocity climbs? Like as much as 400fps.

Yes I still have the emag. You can fix the problem with the velocity issues in the timmy some way. I think PaintballPark187 on pbn knows how.

Thats not true at all. What people do is they unscrew the lpr a little and then chrono. Then in the game they screw it in and the velocity jumps. This is also possible with a lot of regs that seperate in the middle from what i understand. This is nothing new and people have been doing it for a long time. Timmys do not automatically rise in fps that is not true at all.

Dang! How can I do that to my GZ...

Seems like I got a dud, and my GZ is just "normal".

Sometimes when I shoot off a string at the target range, I aim at the farthest part just to see how far they can go... (I usually show my friends just how much farther my Tippy flatline goes just for kicks)

ALL my balls from my GZ land about the same distance +/- 5 to 10 feet (depending on how level I can keep the gun).

If my GZ "Cheater" gun were climbing in velocity during rapid fire, I think I'd notice something strange in how far my shots were landing... especially if, as YOU CLAIM, it clims as much as 400 fps!

I must be missing out on the new "cheater" mods... dang I feel left out! :(

EDIT: SlipknotX556, you got a GREAT gun at a GREAT price!!! nice Job!

why is it that people post who have never shot the guns?

Timmies have never had this "problem" or been cheaters guns. You can MAKE any gun capable of cheating, but that doesn't classify a whole line of guns as being "cheaters" guns. Take a mag (classic mag), dont put a tourney lock on it and go onto the field, crank the back part with your hand, you can get another 30 fps with it. Mark up the valve with 2 small scratches and another on the adjuster for reference. THen you can turn it back to where it should be before the game is over. Simple right?

Timmies can't jump more than 25 fps, no matter what you do to them via the dwell, which seems to be what you're referring to with the strings of paint and climbing velocities. It's been proven that going from 8 ms of dwell to 25 ms dwell doesn't even increase your velocity by 25 fps.

and back to the original thread. NICE GUN. Welcome to the wonderful world of timmy owners. Hopefully your "cheater" gun won't jump 100 fps on you ;)

I always thought the GZs were the only nice looking Timmmys (IMO, the rest were really over done).

Yeah I also like GZ's more then any other Timmi. For some reason I cant stand holding a gun that is so cluttered with milling and other cosmetics *cough (ironman timmi) cough*

Personally I love the clamshell. I'm thinking about throwing one on my GZ and getting a new anno job.

So you now have a 2k2 Intimidator, an E-mag, and a GZ Intimidator?

Nice gun.

You can also call Delta Paintball and ask them to sell you one. They will more often than not, do so.

You realize you should wait till you know what you're talking about, and THEN speak? Saves you some embarrassment.

You're reffering to the LPR trick, which is why they now require locking screws.
