I wanted to know if anyone had any experience with what I call the "Bike Tread" gas thru grip that's in teh Online store and if it can fit on a Mag with an intelliframe?

Somewhere in here Tom posted a thread that had that grip on a mag with an Intelliframe so to answer your question. Yes, it will fit.

Here's a pic with the grip. It's from an old thread. Hate to break it to you buddy, but you posted on that thread here (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34408) . Your longterm memory is going! :D

I knew I remember that thread..i just can never get the search function to spit out the right results..it looks damn sexy on there...hhhmmm..that's about what my Old School Mag Reclaimation Projection is going to look like when I'm done..except it's going to have a Polished H/R Mini body, X-Valve and a Matte Intelli..but other than that...it's perfect..

DB,

At one time Gibby had found that same grip somewhere...I think it was called the Atlas gas thru grip. PBgear sells the clear ones

Those grips are great! And are you saying they have them on the online store (can't get to the store from work). Those are the grips that came on the smear kits that they where selling a while ago. I want just the rubber part of the grip for my other RT.

My local pbstore seems to carry them to..but AGD's seem to be black instead of clear for the rubber portion..or is that just from taking the picture?

Actually, I really liked those foregrips! Very high quality and comfortable to hold. Too bad I sold my Micro which had those on it. I would probably pick up another one later on in the future.

Heres the other side, now do you understand by what I meant by butchered? It ended up that the DYE frame wasn't compatible with the Retro Valve. It sold for $650 like this I can't argue. At the time it might have been the only LX mag FS on the internet, well at least eBay for sure.

I have one of those grips on my mag. i like the way they feel because they fill up your whole hand when you gip them, unlike normal forgrips that you hand over wraps when you grip them becuase theyre too small, if you know what im saying. i don't like the look though, and they get dirts and grimey looking quick.
