I dont live in St louis, but i have had the experience of sendin the old tank to a local dive shop thinking that it would be faster/cheaper. Wrong! It took a month! My mag was taunting me, "PLay with me, Cmon, use C02!" But i pushed away the urges and didnt play for a while, oh well. Godd luck on the tesing thing.

"We're sorry, but PBSS is no longer hydro-testing paintball tanks.

The cheapest hydrotesting places are place that sell welding gas. All pressure tanks have to be tested, and welding gas places test for under 15 bucks. another place to check is fire-extinguisher places. Dive shops are the most expensive at 25-35 bucks. Some diveshop have the testing equipment, so it does have quick turnaround. just have to ask around. Also, talk to your fire department. The air tank they use is same type, and needs testing. they may have a preferred local vendor...

I don't know what brand of tank you have, but Crossfire recommends returning their tanks to the factory for hydrotesting. It has to do with making sure the reg is removed and reinstalled per their specific requirements.

try a fire equipment places and welding suppy shops....many of them do it. Call the local PB places in your area and see where they get testing done.
I know I have a local place that does mine for $10 in Moline, IL
