Ok, I just bought a 13 inch steel braided hose and the inner diameter of it is significantly less than the old steel braided hose I have. I can only fit a 5/64 hex wrench into the hose, whereas the older hose I can fit a 3/32 hex into it.
Are there different diameter SB hoses? should I not use this hose?

naw, nothings wrong (as far as i know) its probably just different manufactures or working pressure. I know different rated macro line has different inner diameters, and i also know that i use line rated for 600psi at about 2x that with no problems. so im thinkin your barded steel is fine (i am however no expert)

yeah it looks like it is bigger than macro so i dont think there will be a problem and steal is rated at 3000 psi if i remeber correctly

ok... I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't really reduce the flow all that much. Thanks.
