I'm going to buy a kit like this one, http://store.yahoo.com/actionvillage/030-9004.html, and anti-siphon tube for a co2 tank, buti m not sure if my 12oz chromemolly tank has a pin valve, which is needed to fit that on it. how do i know if my tank has a pin valve?
(btw im aware i need to take it to a proshop to get iti nstalled...how much does that usually cost?)

Is there a little pin on your c02 tank? Liek where it screws in. Press it a little with a penicl or something, does c02 come out (point away from things)? Its a pin valve

A pin valve isn't necasary for an anti-siphon tube... It's a very simple thing to install, it should come with instructions but if the kit doesn't I could tell you how. I've done it to most all of my CO2 tanks and most of 'em have on/off valves.

i had a friend install a anti siphon on my 24 oz chromolly, with a SP on/off. you can pay a ton for an anti sphon kit or just buy a pipe fitting nut with a hole in it and a piece of copper tube and make one. i dont know the exact terms for this stuff, but at a true value it costs $.60 for the parts...as oposed to like $20 for a anti siphon kit...its the same stuff just packaged for paintball.

anybody who knows what they are doing (airsmith) can set up an anti siphon with 60 cents, red loctite, and a strap wrench.
