Hey does anyone know the stock maximum amount of balls per second on a Minimag? What about a 68 Classic?

Also, what how many stars come on the minimag valve? (I think one comes on the 68 classic, right?)

One star comes on the classic valve. Four stars come on the Minimag valve.

The mag hast he compacity to cycle WAY faster than you or any human can pull the trigger. I don't know the actual may cycle speed, but it's REALLY high.

Does the BPS differ between the minimag and classic 68?

no. the minimag and classic mag are in effect and function the same gun. the only difference is the 4 stars on the mini mag valve and the fact that it has the extended metal sheath over the barrel.

4 stars, extended metal shealth, grips, 8" minimag barrel, vertical adaptor

How's the accuracy and distance on the 8" minimag barrel? And which grip is more comfy?

The stock barrel is decent, all paintbal guns shoot the same distance barrel plays no part in range. And as long as you have good paint to barrel match accuracy is just like any other barrel (although if I remeber right, the stock barrel was rather huge bore wise)

My only beef with the stock barrel was the lack of porting which made it very very loud, but with it being so short any porting would have decreased efficency...

i am pulling 16bps out of my minimag valve, and that is about as fast as it will go.

grips are more confy on the mini, i actually like the comfprt of the stock grips over the intelli...i still like the intelli more though. the stock barrel actually pretty good, it's loud as hell though

I believe the classic valve gets around 13 bps without shootdown..

16bps, no shootdown here.

i find it rather hard to belive you are pulling 16 on a standard valve. do you have a sound file to prove it?

i have a sound file on a friends computer, but can make one on mine. tell me how to put it up so you can become a believer.

oh, read this thread (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=74049&highlight=classic) , and if you do a search in the tech section, you will find that the halo was developed with a classic mag on FA at 15bps.

tell me how to put a sound byte on this post, and i will do it.

i am not a computer person, i know vehicles and how to make mechanicall things work. i have spent two days trying to get the mic. in my computer to work, and now i just need to figure out how to get it to record. the valve and minimag body are on an e-mag frame, with AGD 1.37 software. it is set to 16bps and on my friends computer, we recorded it peaking at 15.7, as fast as i could get the trigger to go. with a halo b there was no visible signs of any shootdown. i will work on getting this stupid program to work on my computer, and will get a sound file as soon as i can.
