So far, I have:
a Dye SS barrel
a Benchmark double trigger frame
drop forward with guage
114/3k Nitro Duck

What should be my next upgrade? Should I go for the Lvl 10, or what?

ULE bodies are out now. (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=75514) You'd have to get a cocker barrel, but I think i'd be worth it.
Level 10 is a MUST HAVE. Eventually you should also think about getting a retro-valve or an x-valve.

Great choice in barrel condoms, might I add;)

I think you should go for the intelliframe and level 10 first. And of course get a nitro tank. And maybe look at a gas thru grip it will look a lot better.

I plan on getting the Lvl 10 ASAP. What would the ReTro do for me?

the RT gives you a higher ROF, a hell of a lot higher ROF

1) L10
2) Intelliframe
3) Nitro
4) Retro (you could get an X-Valve but the Retro is the same thing and you could get the Retro much cheaper used)

I have that same drop, black too, But it's on a 68ci tank... makes it REALLY short. Sometimes it even seems too short becaues i occasionally bump the valve into my mask. But it puts the centerof gravity right in the grip even when it's fully loaded.

I run a macroline from it to my valve but still have a full foregrip... gas through would be handy though

got to give props to the lvl 10... First day i had my intelli, i wasn't geting the lvl10 working right so i went with my lvl7 stuff instead... first time i ever experienced mag chopping fun. Usually only broke 1/500 with my stock single. But after i took the time to get my lvl10 working(and noticing that i need a new reg piston) i havn't chopped one since

i run a classic on my mini... next upgrade is to the x-valve

besides being able to attache to my hopper, what's the advantage of the Intelliframe over my Benchmark Double .45?

BTW, is this thing really going to chop 1/500 balls?
(forgive me guys, I'm used to my old M98)

I put nitro as #3 but now that I think about it, getting nitro should be at least #2. You might even think about getting it before the L10.

The Intelliframe has got a much tighter trigger set-up than the Benchmark. This allows a shorter trigger pull and thus a higher ROF.

if you get the x valve you dont have to worry about getting LX it comes with the x valve

I already have nitro. So the Xvalve is basically the ReTro, with the Xbolt already installed?

The x valve is also about 4 ounces lighter I think.

Where is the best place online to get a lvl 10? My local store has them for 79 bucks, is that a good deal?

Skoad

dude get an intelli over the benchy cuz the intelli is so much more crips and short and nice opposed to the long and sloppy bench

i used to have a benchy then i bought an intelli i almost doubled my rof

I've never shot a benchy...but i have held one in my hands and I have to tell you it can't hold the Intelli's jockstrap...just a nicer fit and finish on the I-F..a smaller pull that's a little heavier but really snappy...I loved my Intelli..that's why I'm putting one on my "Old School Mag Improvement Project"..

hehe make it look like my mag for the next step.

I like as little as a dropforward as possible, so I say get a different dropforward :) I-frame, then lx or either way, you wont regret it.

Well, I got that big drop because the tank that I just picked up is a 114ci. It hasn't arrived yet, but I'll post pics to show how it balances. I still have no idea if the drop I got is the correct one.

Do you guys know what the shortest gas through foregrip is? I'm thinking the CP mini would be nice. Any other recommendations?

MAGma 14
04-07-2003, 05:49 AM
yeah the mini would be good and get an intelleframe over a retro

I just got the benchmark trigger frame, so I'll probably hold off on the intelli. With the valve exchange program, how much would an X valve run me?

i belive the upgrade to an xvalve is $225.

Umm, mayber I'm missing something, but the #1 thing that gun needs is a HOPPER!

Intelliframe isn't much of an upgrade from the benchy,
X-valve requires HPA
An ULE body is King, but requires 'cocker-threaded barrels

no1beefcake

I have HPA, but I don't know about spending $225 on a valve, when I just spent 150 on the bare marker. From my experience, the stock valve doesn't handle CO2 either.
