View Full Version : Must i remove twist lock assembly for a ULE body?

well do i? do i gotta take it out in order to put on a ULE body?

i believe so if you dont thats great but if you do its not that hard just put a screwdriver in the allen wrentch hole and tap it with a hammer it should just pop out the top and you will be set! hope that works :D

Have you ever tried to take one out or put one in? It is a pain in the (_)(_).:p

it was easy to take out, i just hit it once with a hammer and it popped out.

You might be able to leave it in. When I had a Z-body (also 'cocker threaded), it had a little indent where the twist-lock would sit in the mainbody. ULE's might have that, but they might not either.
get one and see; I'll let you know once I get mine :D

that pin for the twistlock? that's gotta come out. i remember reading that a while back.
