I recently bought an RT Pro from a friend. It is a Center feed and came with a Ironman Boomstick that I now noticed seems to be for powerfeed models only (while it can be lined up to work fine, all the 'locking' points are off center). It's a 12 inch barrel (7 inches unported) and my real question is while I'm thinking about getting a new barrel, would getting a powerfeed main body be a better idea? Does powerfeed have any advantages or disadvantages over centerfeed (outside of the fact that powerfeed barrels seem to be easier to find than centerfeed)? Thanks for the help.

I believe powerfeed has better feed rates and is less likely to chop on 'Mags.

Also the vert feed is ungodly high on 'Mags.

first of all, i would recomend not getting anything new...you can just dremel an indent where the barrel will lock into centerfeed. also if you have level ten you don't need to worry about blowback, there isn't any...mostly preference...
