In order to run nitro on a tippmann yo need a low pressure kit. I don't recommend geting this. The barrel and rt kit is a good idrea though. Get an expansion chamber instead of the lp kit.

I agree w/ MoBiLe. Lapco's are great and so are j&j ceramics. You do not need the low pressure kit to run nitro on your 98 however. Preset nitro tanks run from 800-850 psi, the same as Co2 under normal conditions. Oh I almost forgot to mention a revy if you didn't have one already, I'd get that right after the barrel if I had to put them in order.

1.) barrel-sp progressive is nice for the money.
2.) x-chamber if you plan on running co2.
3.) rt kit.
4.) get a revvy if you dont already have one.

upgrades for the 98c are almost endless. have fun :)

ya you dont need a low pressure kit unless you run a low pressure nitro tank
i know cuz my first marker is a 98c rt (now my backup marker)
now im a proud owner of a minimag
j&j ceramic are nice barrels less expensive too
if you want a barrel for distance get the flatline
nitro runs cleaner and works better if it gets cold
this is how i upgraded my 98
1. tippmann 98
2. lapco barrel
3. nitro tank
4. reactive trigger
5. revy hopper
