Titanium Boomstick.

It looks just like my old Ti Boomy, only much much shorter in length. Mine was 16" and scratched up from bunkers and such.

I would hazard a guess at boomy. It has Dye stamped on it.
Whats TI?

Is the TI (Titanium) lighter than the Ultralight?

It's a Boomy and I got a 12 inch one like that and it's a Cocker threaded barrel and I happen to have one just like that in Cocker threads. I will have to take a look at it again to be sure but...Sure looks like I remember it. If thats right then that back is SS.

Ok well it's sorta important that we decide... Boomy or TI, because I'm about to pay $85 for this (supposed) TI.

i have a normal boomy and teh part where the black and the silver (aluminum and titanium in your case) come together, it is a different shape. so yours must be titanium

Ok mine does not have the little milled divots in the back and I know mine is SS so...

But otherwise looks the same length and all.

I do not think either is worth that much used although people do pay it. Tuna can get you a new one for that kinda money...

Not sure if this will help too much, but on my 2-piece titanium boomstick, it says "TI" off to a diagonal of the DYE logo.

I don't see it on that boomstick there; plus, it's one piece.

As previously stated, that barrel is a Dye Titanium, there have been 3 versions of the same barrel and that one is the oldest, as for value for money...?? $85 sounds a good price to me but then used SS Boomsticks go for $60-$90 on my side of the pond ;)

check with Tuna on Dye barrels before you buy.. I think he can get you an Ultralight or something cheaper...

phil - tunaman says you have the cocker barrels, but hes lookin on his "dye sheet" for them now

This barrel is on old style glued TI Boomstick, officially. Is $70 shipped a good price or not (I got it down a little)?
