Just want to get an idea of what size barrels you guys use before I order a new barrel, I'm either going with another 12"er or maybe a 14.

Most people that I talk to say 14 inch. I use a 12 inch but i like short barrels. 14 would work better for air fields though. You can squish the bunker up a bit with it and stay behid more cover. Really depends on what your going to do with it.

longer barrels are better for tilting bunkers or aiming around them. long barrels are more quiet. longer barrels are easier to aim down. longer barrels are gas hogs.

short barrels gets you funny looks... i smile when people look @ my 3" barrel on my mag... lol

i use an edge barrel with a 4" tip so my overall length is about 8" but thats from the breach to the tip i have about 5" form the end of my rail to the tip of the barrel. my team mates call it the bunker buster. i used to run my rt with a stock mini mag barrel and loved how tight i could keep myself to the bunker.

12" for me works out perfectly. 14" isn't bad, but I like 12.

Also, with 12 and 14 there isn't much of a difference. I shoot a 14" cp barrel and I've shot a 12" pmi barrel on my mag. They don't snag on anything and they are both equally easy to use when it comes to airball. None of my barrels are ported so I wouldn't know what to say about sound.

Most of the barrels ive used are 10". I had a 14" in my tippmann day but grew out of that fast. I think Im going to order a 12" edge for my next pay check

Wasn't there a thread floating around somewhere where Tom said all you need is 10"? I just go tmy 10 after reading that and it is great. Problem is no one has 10" edge kits in red. Prolly have to get the 12". Should be as good.
