Hey, my birthday is coming up, and I dont really have a pack.. and.. well, I have an E-mag.. :p
I am going to try to shoot as little as possible but I want some extra room in case I get in some big games (Oklahoma D-Day)
2+1 or a 3 pack would be perfect for me, but I want some space just in case, right? So I want a pack with 3 vertical pouches and 2 verticial elastic thingys. I went around and found just about all the ones I saw.. I want to get a cheap pack but I dont want it to jiggle. Here are the ones I have come up with. Yes, I realise you have to buy a comfort belt with the redz pack.

Mantis Diamond (http://www.paintballgear.net/040-9303-8.html)
Ronin Stealth (http://www.paintballgear.net/040-4001.html)
Paintball Junkies Pro Pack (http://www.paintballgear.net/040-9206-2.html)
Reds Dimension (http://www.paintballgear.net/040-7404-1.html)
System X Pro (http://www.paintball-online.com/product_information.asp?number=HRNXP&variation=BK3&aitem=2&mitem=&back=yes&dept=65)

Also, I would like a barrel system. Right now I'm focused on the J&J edge kit, because its cheap, doesnt use inserts, and I have heard really good things about it. Also, there is a green tip that I would like to buy, but I dont know if it matches my gun's color.. Feel free to suggest any barrel systems.. I dont want the freak, I would like to keep it under $200, I would prefer it not to be an insert system, I want a 10" tip, and I want it fairly light. Thanks for your oppinions..

I have a Redz 3.2 and love it. The belt fits well, and keeps 5 full pods close to my. I can run full sprint and she doesn't move.

I usually keep 3 in it for speedball, but have an extra two for the Scenario games. The only Beef I have with it is that it's a little tough to get the extra two in. Definately load the 2 first, then the 3... ;)

Hope That Helps ~ Dave

I have the Mantis Diamond pack and love it. Left a Dye Attack Pack for it.

i love my redz, even though it is old. it is a 3+1. the best thing about redz is when the belt wears out, you just send it in and get a new one.

I second Redz, doesn't move when I'm in full spring and is very well made.

possibly look into the ER bullet paq? with the elastic x stiched on and the tab holders, it fits just like my old redz, but easier to get out pods and keep the ones that are vertical straps shut.

i have a ronin gear 3+2 (which is actually for sale...) and a redz 4.3. i love the redz because the pods just fall right into your hand when you pull them. the ronin gear isnt a bad pack at all. its actually a pretty good one. i just like my redz better.

M-Pack from TopStitch...a little pricey...but the quality blows everything else out of the water; handmade in California. Buy American Made not Chinese Junk!

As much as I like to agree with the made in the USA packs. Extreme Rage 3+2 Bullit packs are also very good packs. It has elastic over the 3 pods so they push out into your hand when you pull the retaining strap off and the +2 has little elastic loops that hold the tabs on the pod lids so they stay closed even if you roll around on them. It might be worth looking at.

Thanks for all your oppinions so far. Wc Keep, I might take you up on that Ronin pack, depending on the price, and condition.
Redz does look like a good quality pack, and it seems like alot of professionals like redz too (either that or they are sponsored :p )

I vote for top stitch. Most of us on Pride use them and I love mine. I got a little 2+1 but everyone else has 3+2. Great pack, had mine about 6 months now and the pack has no signs of wear and tear on it. No movement from the pack when running.
