I have noticed that everyone except me uses a very small drop. While I have a huge drop. Am I missing some amazing feature or do I just have my prefrence while you have yours?

i use a nice big drop, i love it, it just about cuts my tank in half, my gun is balanced to my liking

Smaller profile. Better for shouldering.

Actually a lot of people don't use drops. Shortens the gun beyond belief. I don't think I will ever use a drop again.

Drop forwards = overrated ;) :D

teenie drop for 45/45, just to get it tight enough to get my elbow in there.

I use a medium sized drop for a 68, a couple inches.

I'd probably use a huge drop on a long 88, but i'm fortunate to not have one :)

I like to get right behind my gun and i can't seem to get that feel with 4 inches or more of tank sticking out. Maybe I needa just try a small drop and get used to it.

They are'nt for everyone. But I started with the mindset the it had to be a DZ2. Now a few yeard later I'm going to be running a cut down 'geddon rail. I prefer to stick the tank against my shoulder like a stock. It's still tight but my marker is steadier and my shots more accurate. It also makes my marker feel lighter and more responsive because a chunk of the weight is taken off my arms. Try it and see what you think but don't do it because you see other's do it. Stick with what works.

I made my own drop. I am thinking of making it shorter though. I made it small enough that I have some tank sticking out, but big enough that I don't have any reg. I think we I need to do it make it short enough to just fit the reg with a duckbill asa. Keep it simple and short so I can shoulder my gun.

i'd like a bigger one but its so darn hard finding one to fit without hitting my foregrip or the elbow at the end of my gas through

I have the Shockteck Stubby (2 Inches) and I think it's too big sometimes... I want to get a regular rail(I think CP makes them)

I like to shoulder the back of the tank. I'm also tall (6'2") I like the tasnk to stick out backwards enough so the gun isn't right in my face. Different tanks require different drops for me.

I don't really care how well the gun balances while I'm just standing around holding the gun in one hand. I play & shoot with 2 hands on the gun, and the tank stuffed into my shoulder. You gotta do, what you gotta do...

The "AO" drop, with a long 88 tank is just about perfect, same drop, with a 68, is too short.

I use a large NW spoon drop on my gun with my 88 long tank. My tank goes an inch and a half beyond the valve. It is pretty much perfect for me

I like having as big a drop as possible. I have one of the 7.5" psycho balistics ones... on my 68/3k stub... I think its still too long, Im planing on buying a 45/45 soon and keeping the drop... I just like having the gun really close to my face

it's almost all preferance, but the weight of the tank does have alot to do with your choice of drop. i use a long drop, just because i like the balance of the gun better.

I tried a Unimount and absolutely hated it. I went back to my DZ2.
