An hour and a half is what I've heard, I guess I need to try a little harder to find sandpaper w/ that high of a grit count.

what's the best way to polish it if you have no access to a buffer? :-/

I have heard it is a good weekends worth of work, and you should just get some heavy grit then work your way up to the smaller grit paper. (or maybe its vice versa)

ya but after you sand it down all the way from 300 grit to 1000+ grit, what's a way to polish it without using a buffer?

There is some type of cream that has sand in it that you can rub on and it will act as a polish ~ look at you local hardware store
