J&C, don't know if you saw these, but since you ordered an xvalve and a ule, this might be handy on a "new" gun, and you can't beat the price...

Yeah... I saw that.

I'm in no rush... I'm going to slap my new ULE Body + X Valve on my current RetroMAG for a while (mechanical fun).

Then, later when the bottom half of the ULE EMAGs become available as seperate upgrades, I'll upgrade and go full electro.

But for now, this is fine. :)

by bottom part for the emag

do you mean ULE rail and ULE gripframe?

sooooooooooooooooooooo what you are trying to say is , when the ULE rails and ULE grips are for sale......:)

i'm going to go hit myself for being stupid.....

Jack & Coke

yes... most likely sometime in the distant future...;)

at... least that's what my guess is:)

*crosses fingers*

Either that, or I'll have to buy a whole new EMAG, gut it, and slap on my ULE body and X-Valve.

But then I'm stuck with about $450 unused parts ( original body and E-valve:( )

I just got mine today too! :)

Now I'm trying to get the stupid twist lock pin out of my rail... aaarrrggh... what a big pain!

a hammer works

Jack & Coke

what did you use to punch it out with? I don't want to damage the rail...

Russ

How I removed my twist-lock assembly...

First I removed the set screw, then the spring & pin.

Next, I screwed a 10-32 screw into the twist-lock body.

Set the rail, upside-sown on a board with a hole in it, big enough for the twist-lock to fit into (loosely)

Then, bang the bejesus out of that thing 'till it slides out.

LOL! :p

Dang, this thing is so light and sweet!

My wife was cracking up as I walked into the room holding my new baby boy in one arm and my new ULE mag in the other... I told her, just wait, in 10 to 12 more years.... muhahahah!

Now all I need is the bottom half of this photo, but in ALL BLACK...

J&C, how do you like that maxflo tank? Does it work well with your x-valve?

Jack & Coke
04-26-2003, 01:17 PM
I love the performance of my Max Flo!

I just wish it was smaller...

I guess that's why SP came out with the new '03 Max Flo's

http://www.warpig.com/paintball/tournament/psp/2003/la/tradegallery/MVC791S.jpg

Yummy!

I like the low profile mounting system... I don't like drop forwards anymore...

I like crossfire tanks a lot, and the only reason I got the max flow was so I could push my input above 800-850. Having the option to sweet-spot the trigger is so much fun!:)

When I upgrade an finally go EMAG, I'll probably switch to Crossfire 70 stub 4500 + CheckIt Uni-mount... since I don't need to jack up the input on an electro. I really like how this setup shoulders when I shoot.

Replying to two issues:

1. No extra detent in the box. Busy Tom didn't let me know about that! Also, we are entirely out of detents and I have not been given an ETA.

2. Why don't we make more ULEs? We are making more. Best estimate 1-3 weeks.

Marcia,
Thanks for the reply. Atleast now we know why we didn't get them. I will keep in touch via email. I am still building my ULE\hyperframe\freak gun, but will probably need some more parts in a week or so, as I think my older gun will become a pump-mag.

Thanks again,
Rob

Hi Marcia,

Can you do us a favor and twist Tom's arm behind his back to hurry up the release of ULE EMAG FRAMES?

The top half of my future ULE EMAG is looking for a bottom half... :)

...or better yet, how about COMPLETE ULE EMAGS (with the new ULE bodies)?

:D
