Go to the Team Maxim website here (http://www.team-maxim.com/) and a window pops up asking you to vote on the six loviest girls in paintball. The lovely diva who is crowned the winner get's to do a photoshoot with Maxim!:eek: :D

And...take a wild guess who Maxim is considering as one of the elite, AGD's very own Capo! ;)


As supporters of AGD and of Automag's everywhere, I believe that it is our duty make sure that Clare get's that photoshoot in Maxim. Whaddya say AO!?! :p

I personally love women. I enjoy looking at them. I love everything about them. However! I have seen lots of voting for clare on things, posting pictures, creating fan clubs etc... that would inturn put her in front of lots of people. I have no clue if clare cares, but I think that because she is a human being, she should be asked. For all I know she has. I am only bringing this up because I don't know.

All I guess I wanted to get across is, most of us have probably been on the spot at least once and should think about that and understand that occasionally, it can be a very unpleasent experience.

i think it would be good to get clare in the public eye, even more so, and getting agd into maxim again(remember maxim voted the e-mag best marker???)

but, i also think clare should have the choice whether or not to do it. Saying she took pics for agd, i doubt she would be bothered by it too much, but then again i am not clare. Just remember, we kicked P8int.coms *** with voting, we can do it here as well!

Heheh that just struck me as a bit humorous. I might be wrong, but isn't the reason you vote for 6 women because the photo shoot is going to have 6 women in it?

Yes Magmann007 brought up a very good point, I hope she was notified or whether or not she will get to choose to be in this contest?

I have seen the Maxim magazine, through the graces of my younger brother and I have to admit, I was quite embarrassed everytime the mailman would come and hand it to me.

Although they are catering to the male population, I feel that some of there shoots are just plain cheesy and very degrading towards women in general.

I know I don't agree with the masses, but hey just lookin out for my fellow girl and so far I am very proud of her and that she hasn't posed in a way that is degrading or demeaning.

Which I give her all the respect she deserves. So I hope if she is involved that it is tasteful.

Very true. I'm not sure how they set it up but one would hope they notified and have agreements with all the ladies and their respective companies/teams. If not it would seem to be a rather poor business decision....

I remember long ago when I played paintball the covers of APG usually had a bunch of models in swimsuits hanging off some guy with a polished PMI-3 (VM68) and I thought then that it hurt the sport of paintball.. back then paintball was a "game" people saw that looked like we were playing "war", war and then swimsuit models kinda gave it a bad image...

Well now Paintball is actually considered a sport and not a "Survival Game" or make believe war. So now I can enjoy the models holding the hi-tech markers.

Here at work I have the beta picture of Clare holding her purple X-Mag as the wallpaper on one of our lab machines (I work at Apple Computer), my buddies girlfriend said it was degrading, but once I explained that she was not just a pretty girl but a great paintball athlete that happened to be pretty... she seemed OK with it. And this from a girl that just recently protested outside of a Honey Ham Bakery on Easter Sunday.... lol (Vegan, anti-war, activist.. etc..). So if she could see the good.. then I think anyone else can. What would be great is if they showed action shots of theses ladies and THEN the beach swimsuit pics..
