Theres a couple free forums you can d.l. I forget the names though, I think one is ezboard or something like that. This, what AO is using, is a forum program called VB, which costs money to buy. Unless you know HTML, its pretty hard to set up a forum. Its not just like "press this button, and you have a forum" But if you use a free forum, its pretty easy to set up. If you use VB, have fun trying to set it up.

edit- dang, he beat me. VB is the link he gave you above

http://www.phpbb.com/ Is free, but you need to have a backend database such as MySQL in order to run it.

Ultimate Bulletin Board Classic http://www.infopop.com/products/ubbclassic/ doesn't need a database, only CGI access and is fairly easy to setup, but is $199.

I don't want to get a bunch of hate mail..but my office already has a full on microsoft backbone (the software we produce is Access and MS-SQL based) so I wanted to know if anyone knows of a bulletin board software that will run off of MS-SQL and maybe IIS or something similar. I've been trying but I can't seem to find anything.
