regular automag..cleaning

is it okay to gas up a classic automag, put it under water, and shoot, to clean it? would this be a sufficient way of cleaning?

I wouldn't shoot it under water just in case something sticks. You can put it under water while gased up though. It can disolve the paint and dirt and clean it quite effectively.
