What is the limits for pressure on the X Valve?

Wlll, I've seen them be run around 1100psi tank input. I wouldn't WANT to do that b/c it's hard on the orings inside.

the classic valve is laser engraved " rated 3000 psi "

EVERYTHING Tom makes is rated for Quality AND Safety first. The Valve is rated at 3000 in the rare case that the reg on the tank fails and the full brunt of the pressue doesn't cause the valve to explode.

It is a safety issue, nothing more. DO NOT RUN 3000PSI INTO YOUR MAG. I wouldn't run anymore than 1100 or so, like Dayspring said. The o-rings and seals in the valve will wear much quicker.

So I could take a preset tank (output 800psi) with a gas thru grip and be fine?
