But the true question is... Will they work straight out of the box?

a lot of markers have leaks outa the box / problems... thats not uncommon on a mass produced product

i love the triple fingerd triggers......

they both look nice, the drops are cool, looks like the exact same dimensions as my shocktech mico drop w/ the same angled put on it

P2XT (or whatever the magazines acro is) claimed $1200+ for the nerve and my local store is quoting ~800 for the shocker.

I think they will be nice guns, and I have no problem with the grips... I just HATE the trigger (100% single trigger only for me).

Yes they prolly will have some bugs outta the box, but name one marker that worked 100% in the first production run. But still, I'm waiting a year to see what those bugs, and fixes, are. I have become VERY wary ever since the probs with the eggo1....

"The new Shocker will remain a closed bolt paintball gun, as this is the primary source of its legendary accuracy"

wow... ....

Yes I noticed that too...they mention closed bolt accuracy as one of the advantages earlier on too.

i think they are dead freaking sexy(especially the nerve) the reason the nerve costs so much is because it comes in a package deal with a max-flo nitro tank(bad economics/business to force somebody to spend extra money on a tank when they might already have one IMO). ill agree with espo tho.. the forgrips are kinda fugly. oh well

those things are ugly!, If i had to choose, i would take the shocker, closed bolt and looks better and i think it comes with a 2k3 style max flow all for $800. Thats a pretty good deal in my book.

I really like the barrel on the shocker, oh and the color is sweet, but the rest of it is quite ugly. The nerve is even worse looking, but they are better than the old style shockers, sort of:eek:

Hack that fore grip off and make it black.

It will at least LOOK good, wonder how it fires.
