View Full Version : X-Valve Leaking

My X-Valve is leaking out the little side hole on the left. It almost sounds like a sizzle. The leak is constant and I can stop it by putting tape over it, but that is a sub-optimal solution.

Oh, I did oil the regulator valve pin valve assembly and the o-rings looked good. (the darned thing is brand new after all!)

I'm also concerned since my velocity isn't quite as dead-on as my old classic valve. I've got about +/-7 fps which kinda rots compared to the +/- 3 I was getting. Do I need to break it in?

this isn't the hole that you hose goes into is it?hat is the case, just take the fitting back off and use a little blue loctite. I dont have an x-valve, so I am not sure what other hole there would be.

Nope, its a tiny toothpick-width hole on the opposite side from the input. All my fittings are fine.

Replace them reg valve pin orings you got a bum one. That little hole is there to let air that leaks buy the orings out.
