What exactly is trigger walking? Is it the same as fanning?

I knwo how to fan, and its pretty fast, but now people are talkign about walking the triger.

I'm at school, so thats why this is shorter than one of my posts would usually be.

Trigger walking, you are pretty much alternating your index and middle finger to hit the trigger. Your index finger hits then releases then your middle finger hits and releases and keeps alternating almost seamlessley. It is a hard pattern to get used to.

It also helps if you can type fast :) I am a pretty fast typer and it really helps me walk the trigger because I am able to alternate fingers faster.

Thats what I figured it was. 'Cause thats how you make a walking motion with your fingers.

I have a Bass... but i cant play it, lol. and I type semi-fast. Guess I'll have to try it one of these days.

some guns its harder then others.. Im a ok walker, i can rip on an E-99(yes, e-99) faster then i could on a impulse with blade trigger(slow unless you fanned it). But on the xmag i shot...no need to walk it. It shoots fast enough.

jake you cant do anything you know it and that e-99 you cant even walk the trigger so ha ha ha also you shoot faster on the impulse than the e-99 and i know it

When you hold the gun with your left hand and use one finger to pull the trigger. Whenever I do it, my hand is perpendicular to the trigger and my middle finger is straight out. You use your wrist to move your whole hand to pull the trigger.
